Vintage Mitti Attar made from co distillation of Wild Mysore Sandalwood -Perfume Oil – Petrichor -Co-distilled in 1990 – Mitti Attar – The scent of rain or Earth Perfume
Our Sandal Mitti Attar is a fragrance oil created by hydro distillation (traditional deg bhapka process) of baked clay over vintage Mysore Sandalwood Oil.
This oil was made in 1990 using high quality Indian clay and Mysore Sandalwood Co-distilled. We only managed to acquire 100 grams of this precious oil and such finds are very had to come by on the market.
The fragrance opens with literally similar to the scent when it rains over dry lands, slowly develops into a creamy powdery note and then you can smell the Mysore sandalwood that is sweet creamy sandalwood for a good few hours.
If you love earthy fragrances and sandalwood this is a must to have in your collection.
Sandal Mitti attar is a traditional aromatic essence of baked earth hydro-distilled into creamy high-quality Indian Mysore sandalwood.
The method used to distil the earthy Smokey clay over sandalwood is said to be hundreds of years old.
Majority of the Mitti Attars widely available in the market are unfortunately fake imitations or of poor quality and there is no sandalwood in it, let alone the legendary Mysore Sandalwood.
The oil comes in high quality glass bottle with a glass applicator.
