Blackcurrant Absolute Bud Enfleurage – Ribes nigrum L. – France
The blackcurrant is found in abundance in Burgundy, France and traditionally used for its fruit, but the aromatic part of the plant is the bud which is freshly extracted.
The only reason we are calling it absolute for better search results but this is Enfleurage and is a thick white paste.
Blends beautifully with floral, such as ylang ylang and jasmine and citruses. Not only does it add green, fruity notes to blends but even animalic ones in trace amounts.
Odor description: Green, Creamy, fruity with earthy undertones, zesty.
Country of Origin: France
Plant Part Used: Bud
Appearance: White, thick paste like
Extraction Method: Enfleurage
