Frangipani Essential oil – Plumeria alba – Nepal
After a long wait we finally have the Frangipani oil in our possession. This Frangipani Essential was extracted by a close friend just for us in his distillation unit in Nepal, procuring from the source is the best way to avoid adulteration.
White Frangipani flowers were steam distilled to produce this breath taking oil. It is powdery, creamy, sweet floral, fruity, bubble gum and has very slight spicy nuances.
It smells like many different florals and other materials have come together, it has some nuances of ylang ylang, tuberose, gardenia.
We also offer the Frangipani Absolute and now we have a reference of how Frangipani smells when extracted using solvent and also steam distillation. They are both different, the essential oil version doesn’t smell waxy.
Normally absolute of Frangipani is extracted as it is easier and cheaper but our Frangipani oil was extracted using steam distillation and is more precious than the absolute.
