Ultravanil 80% DPG is a premium gourmand aroma chemical renowned for its exceptionally rich vanilla absolute character. Supplied at 80% in Dipropylene Glycol (DPG), it delivers an intense vanilla profile with outstanding performance while exhibiting significantly less discoloration than many traditional vanillic ingredients.
80% Ultravanil & 20% DPG
Its aroma is warm, sweet, creamy, and intensely vanillic, supported by a distinctive phenolic facet that gives the material remarkable depth and realism. At lower concentrations, Ultravanil acts as a powerful booster, enriching vanilla accords and adding fullness without overwhelming the composition. It performs exceptionally well when combined with vanillin, ethyl vanillin, and Isobutavan, creating smooth, natural, and long-lasting gourmand effects.
Typically used at 1–2% of a 10% dilution, Ultravanil enhances vanilla, gourmand, amber, oriental, tobacco, and woody compositions while improving diffusion and longevity. It blends beautifully with tonka bean, benzoin, cacao, coffee, sandalwood, amber materials, musks, and balsamic notes, making it an indispensable ingredient for modern gourmand perfumery.
