Styrax resinoid, extracted from the Liquidambar styraciflua tree, is a 100% pure, hexane-free material sourced directly from Honduras.
It features a rich, sweet, balsamic aroma with floral, honey-like, and leathery nuances, along with resinous, animalic undertones, and vanilla and amber notes. The resin is harvested from over 50-year-old trees through a traditional tapping method called “Pica,” carried out annually. With its honey-like, sticky consistency, it requires gentle warming (Baine Marie) before use. Styrax resinoid is an absolute and extremely potent, ideal for creating bold fragrances or other applications, with its complex and persistent scent profile.
