High grade Premium Sri Lankan Sandalwood from the heartwood of Sandalwood from Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan Sandalwood Oil, derived from the aromatic heartwood of the Santalum album tree, stands as a testament to the island's rich heritage and natural abundance. Revered for centuries, this exquisite oil carries a legacy of cultural significance and therapeutic properties, making it a coveted treasure in the world of perfumery, spirituality, and holistic wellness.

The distillation of this beautiful oil was done by a very talented artisanal distiller. Typically the process of Sandalwood oil is pretty straightforward, which is to collect good quality sandalwood and make shavings and powder and dust and use copper still to distill the oil.

Our premium Sri Lankan Sandalwood Heartwood oil was produced using the same technique used to distill Oud oil. Sandalwood material is meticulously prepared and distilled on low heat over few days. The result is an exquisite Sandalwood oil that has the top, middle and base notes still in tact.

Our Sri Lankan Sandalwood Oil is renowned for its exceptional quality and distinct aroma. Its dark golden hue exudes warmth and tranquility, while its velvety texture glides effortlessly on the skin, leaving a subtle, lingering scent. This prized oil is cherished for its versatility, finding its way into an array of products, from perfumes and cosmetics to sacred rituals

The scent of Sri Lankan Sandalwood Oil is a harmonious symphony of creamy, sugary, creamy pineapple, buttery, floral sweetness.

The extraction of Sri Lankan Sandalwood Oil is a meticulous process that requires patience, skill, and respect for nature. Traditionally, the heartwood of mature Santalum album trees is carefully harvested, taking care to ensure the sustainability of the species. The harvested wood is then finely ground or chipped before undergoing the distillation process.

Steam distillation is the most common method used to extract sandalwood oil from the wood chips. During this process, the wood chips are placed in a still with water, and steam is passed through them, releasing the aromatic compounds. The steam, now enriched with sandalwood oil molecules, is then condensed and collected, leaving behind the fragrant essential oil.

This method preserves the integrity of the oil, capturing its full spectrum of aromatic compounds while maintaining its therapeutic properties. The resulting Sri Lankan Sandalwood Oil is a testament to the time-honored tradition of craftsmanship and the natural abundance of the island's forests.
