Myrrh Resinoid 50% in Ethanol – Eastern Africa is a premium natural perfumery material prepared for ease of use at 50% concentration in ethanol (ETH). Pure Myrrh Resinoid is naturally a thick, solid material that can be difficult to weigh and incorporate into fragrance formulations. We have diluted the resinoid with ethanol to create a more workable, perfumer-friendly consistency while retaining the rich and unmistakable character of natural myrrh.

Obtained from myrrh resin originating from Eastern Africa, the material has a deep, warm and intensely balsamic-resinous aroma. It reveals complex layers of smoky woods, warm spice, leather, incense, and subtly medicinal nuances, creating the ancient, mysterious character for which myrrh has been treasured in perfumery and incense traditions for centuries.

Myrrh Resinoid 50% ETH is particularly valuable in incense accords, amber fragrances, leather perfumes, woody compositions, oriental fragrances, oud accords, and niche perfumery. It pairs beautifully with frankincense, labdanum, benzoin, patchouli, sandalwood, cedarwood, oud, tobacco, vanilla, spices, and amber materials.

The 50% ethanol preparation makes this traditionally difficult-to-handle resinoid considerably easier to measure, blend, and incorporate into perfume formulas.
