Lavandin Essential Oil – Bulgaria is a premium essential oil steam-distilled from the flowering tops of Lavandula × intermedia, a natural hybrid of True Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia). Renowned for its fresh, vibrant aroma and excellent yield, Lavandin is widely used in fine fragrance, home fragrance, and personal care formulations.
Its aroma is brighter and more aromatic than True Lavender, combining fresh herbaceous, floral, camphoraceous, and soft woody nuances with remarkable diffusion. Compared to Lavender Essential Oil, Lavandin contains a higher concentration of camphor, giving it a cleaner, sharper, and more invigorating profile. While Lavender Essential Oil is softer, sweeter, and more delicately floral, Lavandin Essential Oil offers greater freshness, strength, and projection, making it particularly effective in modern fragrance compositions.
In perfumery, Lavandin blends beautifully with bergamot, lemon, rosemary, clary sage, geranium, cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss, coumarin, and amber materials. It is extensively used in fougères, aromatic fragrances, citrus colognes, masculine perfumes, soaps, candles, and luxury home fragrances.
