Red Champaca is deep, very rich, very intense sultry floral notes layered with sweet fruit and earthy tea notes; a slight minty/herbal note lingers in the background.
The dry down presents a spectrum of scents – dried fruits, hay and hints of tobacco

In perfumery Red Champaca blends well with Rose, Jasmine, Ylang, Orange Blossom and great add to a oriental perfume

Michelia champaca absolute IS rare and hard to come by and now known to us as being sourced from a species that is red-listed in India by IUCN, although classified as Least Concern. Because the flowers have long been culturally significant in the devotional rituals of India, our supplier sources flowers that are carefully plucked from – and with no damage to – established trees in an area where new trees are continually being cultivated. Thus, this absolute represents a step in the right direction for sustainably-sourced fragrance materials.
