Ambrette seed oil Co2 is a highly aromatic, creamy, and musky essential oil prized for its natural musk compounds, including ambrettolide. Extracted using CO2 extraction, it features creamy, nutty notes with silky fruity undertones and hints of liquor. As it dries, it develops into a powdery floral note reminiscent of orris. The oil adds texture and longevity to fragrances, acting from the head to the base.

The oil is derived from the seeds of Hibiscus abelmoschus, which grows in mountain slopes and valleys. The yellow flowers, which only last a day, turn into large fuzzy fruit containing the ambrette seeds. Harvested manually between May and September, the seeds are separated from their shells, sun-dried for two days, and cleaned before extraction. Ambrette seed oil is perfect for creating musky and oriental perfumes, adding complexity and lasting power to fragrance compositions.
