Vintage Taif Rose Sultani 1980s from the Royal Archives – Taif Rose oil – 100% Pure & Natural
Presenting to you vintage Taif Rose Sultani from 1980s from the royal collection of the Sultan of Oman.
We are perhaps late to this party but we have been cautiously tracking and reviewing the perfume oils that were once part of the royal collection of His Majesty, the late Sultan Qaboos of Oman. There are many perfume oils including Taif Rose in the market, falsely claiming to be the real deal. We have finally discovered a batch of the real Rose Taifi, from a very trusted source.
Now for some information on why the perfume oils from the Sultan’s collection are so sought after. HM Sultan Qaboos was known to love perfumes and most specifically he loved Rose Taif oil. Rose oil that is normally produced is very precious, requiring 1000 to 1500 kilos of fresh roses that are picked before sunrise to produce a one kilo or less of the rose oil. The Rose Taifi produced for His Excellency was selected from the best of the best roses and from the best batches of oil.
We have named this Rose Taifi as Rose Sultani to give it the differentiation that it deserves from the other Rose oils that we have in our collection. We do not know the exact the year when the oil was distilled but our source confirmed that this batch was brought to the palace of the Sultan around 40 years ago and has been ageing in the royal collection all these years.
Normally the colour of Taif Rose oil is pale green but Sultani is exquisite and is golden.
The scent is the best of the best we have experienced. Its honeyed with hits of lemon, its bright yet well rounded rose, in the dry down it has nuances of tobacco or i can say a bit to it.
Here is a chance to experience the best Taifi Rose and to own a piece of history and royalty.
