Ravintsara oil, distilled from the leaves of the tree growing in the humid evergreen forests of Madagascar, has a clean, herbaceous, camphorous fragrance note.

Ravintsara has green facets that impacts the top notes, it has nuances of pine, cardamom, slight fruity, very camphorous and has a cooling effect and followed by a facet evoking laurel notes. Perfectly suited for functional perfumery as well as green fougere accords, it is also ideal for aromatherapy.

Cinnamomum camphora is a species of tree belonging to the Lauraceae family, native to China, Taiwan and Japan. Today it has been naturalized on other continents and is sometimes considered an invasive species.

Our Ravintsara comes from Ambanja region of Madagascar.
