The Nutmeg is the dried seed of the fruit of the evergreen Myristica frgrans tree. The trees originally from the Moluccas (Spice Islands) of Indonesia are now found in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and the Caribbean. The extracts are produced from the riped, dried seeds.

Great in spicy accords and men’s fragrances, as a top note in floral and oriental blends as well as wood, leather, animalic and black tea accords. Used in skincare, aromatherapy its aroma can be very calming.
