The bile duct of the gastrointestinal tract of the sperm whale produces a secretion to ease the passage of sharp substances. This secretion then travels to the intestines of the whale which it then vomits out. The solid waxy substance, its color varying from grey to black is a prized ingredient and an excellent fixative in perfumes.

We have used a high-grade ethanol and tinctured using a very high end technology and the age of the tincture is 2 years.
