Elemi Heart Essential Oil – Canarium Luzonicum (Blume) A. Gray – Philippines
The Canarium luzonicum is a large ever green tree reaching upto a height of 100ft is native to the Philippines. Incisions made in its bark produce a soft, oily oleoresin.
Its uses vary from varnishes, inks, torches, medicinal applications as well as perfumery.
Blends well with citrus, spicy, floral, resins, chypre, fougeres. It addition to being used as a top to middle note, it is a great fixative resinoid.
